... I like it hot, hot, hot! I created a Pinterest Board for all my hot finds! Click Here to check it out & Follow. I have quickly become a "Pin-addict". I love Pinterest and spend way too much time there!
Here's one of my recent concoctions, I mean recipes I am sharing and adding to my Board.

Hot! Hot! Hot!
I'm calling it "Maui Ouiweee" or "Kilauea
in a Pineapple Patch" or "Make me Hula" hahaha
Please let me know what your favorite name is and if you try it, please let me know! I may start working on my 2nd Hot Pepper cookbook. I write them, do the art work, print them, bind them & give them away, ...who knows maybe one day I'll put one in a shop.
2 large Serrano peppers
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp citric salt (I didn't have limes
but if I did I'd have used 1/2 lime)
1 1/2 tbsp. srirracha
1 can of crushed pineapple
1 cup fresh cherry tomatoes
I used the emersion blender on the
peppers, garlic & tomatoes, then mixed into the crushed pineapple with
remaining ingredients. It's hard to stop eating it!
Just listed some New Holiday Designed Embroidered Coasters in my Shenanagans Shop. So far these are turning out to be "hot" items! You know I couldn't resist that. haha
All joking aside I am pleasantly surprised how much people like these. I have given them as gifts and have sold quite a few sets already. It makes me feel good when people like what I do, I get a little kindred spirit feeling. I am working on some new cuff bracelets. I'm such a "Plain Jane" that it's hard for me to go over the top and I've been told I need to go over the top with them!
I'll post them when they are finished.

The Buzz.....
... I finally finished my pieces for the Bee show! Today is the deadline to deliver my pieces and I literally finished a few minutes ago. If you are wondering where the vintage looking angel I was working on is, well she's gone, after weeks of painting on her, I painted over her 4 days before the deadline & started from scratch to complete this piece. I must like stressing myself out. The piece is a large canvas 18 x 24 and the initial angel was sweet but I wasn't digging it being just a great big head with a big hat. I think they are great for smaller pieces but I thought there needed to be a lot more interest on a big canvas. Obviously there is a lot more going on now. Everyone loves this final piece better and I think I do too. I am selling 5 x 7 prints of this piece in my Etsy Shop. If you are interested in purchasing the original before the show & helping bee research you can email Laurelin Gilmore. For more info & all the press on the show please click on this Link.
"Bees In Her Bonnet"More buzz ..... Thank you StoryBeader at a Stroll through Storyland ! It is such an honor to be chosen to be featured on your blog in such a manner! Please check out her fantastic blog & her feature on me Here! Warning...you will see my messy studio!
And more buzz!... My son won 2nd place a salsa contest today using my original salsa recipe! You know how I love peppers and all things hot. I have lots of original salsa recipes. This is a green salsa with ginger & cucumber. I may share the recipe one day so stay tuned!
To whom it may concern...if you're still out there... It feels like a week ago, but probably not, time is passing so fast, someone, you know who you are, sent me a message and presented me with blog award. I meant to respond & post it I really did, I appreciated it too, I really did, but somehow I spaced it out. Now I can't find it or find you! I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!

Did I do that? I Can't Remember...
I was given a new blog award! Thank you Kim! Be sure to check out her wonderful blog and folk art! I will give a list of my nominees to pass it along on my next post. It's hard because I love so many!
My best friends' daughter Lauren finally has her SAG card (Screen Actor's Guild) and can start getting speaking parts now. I was very excited to see her in Kath & Kim which aired on
Thursday night! If you watch the last episode look out for my beautiful shopper in the electronics store scene. She is also going to be on Saving Grace when the season begins and that's one of my favorite shows! Lauren is so pretty & sweet on the outside as well as inside and I'm super proud of her. Congratulations Lauren!

Congratulations Lauren! I made the salsa with cactus and if I say so myself it was good! It's all gone alre
ady! I used 1 jar of Dona Maria Napalitos drained, 1 seeded habanero pepper, 1 clove of garlic, approx 1/3 of a yellow onion, the juice of 2 small limes & 2 tbsp of white vinegar and a pinch of salt. Blended it all together. My limes were a little dry so I popped them in the microwave for about 10 seconds. It made a little over 1 C. It was medium to hot but didn't leave you burning, just burning for more! LOL I think it would be really tasty with serrano peppers too. I will definitely be making this again!

I have been so absent minded lately it's starting to scare me. Is it Alzheimer's setting in? Is it because my husband's home now and upsetting my routine? My mind on too many things? Too many brain cells killed from Grey Goose in Long Beach last week? Whatever it is I have got to get a grip, buckle down, and start making lists to stay on track. I forgot I volunteered a meeting at my own house next Saturday, I am misplacing everything, I mailed a Bee Happy Zine to England without the envelope. That one caused a panic attack! I think I'd lose my head right now if it wasn't attached.
I haven't painted in a few weeks but will be painting tonight! I am looking forward to it. Jim is playing with the Spotted Dogs and I will have the house to myself. I am going to finish up an angel painting that I am working on, put together 3 Bee Happy Zine cards that are sold for mailing and maybe work a little on my gallery paintings. My Bee Happy Zine Cards apparently were on the front page of Etsy while I was in Long Beach. I would have loved to see that. I need to take a better photos! Coz ya never know do ya?
My adorable grandbaby had his picture in the Sacramento Parent Magazine this week!
He has the sweetest spirit. He rarely cries, and is all smiles and ooos and awwwwws. I am running out to get a copy...page 31!
