On My Easel

A work in progress. A commission for a Little Swimmer. I am enjoying painting on paper more than I have in the past thanks to those luscious pastels I was working with a few months ago. I haven't done many 4x6 paintings and I am digging this size! I'll be doing more for sure. I'll post the final picture when she's completed. *** 1/9 You can view the completed painting by clicking here.

what a cute little swimmer. I bet that 4x6 size is fun, not too small, not too big either. :) and your Sunday Angel is GORGEOUS!!

thanks for commenting on my blog. I have been putting off dieting since I've had my son (almost 4 years ago!) and stayed roughly the same, but since Mom passed it's been going up. I normally have your attitude about it, but I have to do something now, my feet hurt me sooo bad, that it has to be the extra weight. I think there must be a magic number and when you're past it, all hell breaks loose! ha ha

Funny, this piece reads HUGE!

...and she totally looks like she is holding her breath as the weight of the water lays her lids closed.
