That is truly amazing. I don't usually use that word, but oh my that is incredible. I found it funny that he said it was misery and painstaking to make but enjoyed it when it was finished! He does have patience, a lot more so than I! I wonder if it was hard for him to let go of his life's work? He seems like a character... "I think I inhaled it" ha ha... I love an artist that doesn't take himself too seriously. Thanks for sharing this :)
Oh My Goodness! I had not seen that before. That is amazing!! I could not even imagine working on something like that. A 20 million dollar check would be something though, wouldn't it? ;)
Hi Campbell. I had seen a video about him before but had no idea he had sold hi lifes work for 20 million. Can you believe that? Wow!! That comment he made about his teachers treating him as "Nothing" really struck me. How dare those teachers be so cruel, and then I remembered that my teachers when I was at a young age also treated me mean. I think teachers like that should be ousted to never teach again. Oh boy, there I go. I better stop now while I'm ahead. Sorry. Have a great weekend. Yay to him!!! Boo to his teachers!!!
Wow! I cannot begin to imagine how one could find the patience for a such a painstaking process. I don't have the patience to thread a needle and here he is sculpting in them? Thanks for sharing this...I agree "nothing doesn't exist" especially where people are concerned.
