This weekend I made myself this huge gardening bag. I guess if I'm going to give gardening a whirl I'll be needing a bag to put stuff in. I recalled Martha making a bag with duct tape & staples, curious to see if it would really work, I got busy assembling. It's not finished. Ran out of duct tape. Duct tape is on the shopping list!

Weekend on the Rocks...
Even though the bag needs some trimming up, I tested it's strength by raiding our overflowing river beds filling it with rocks. To my amazement it's strong and sturdy. So sturdy in fact that I am thinking these might make cute flower planters, with some creative pattern making & funky fabric. Yes duct tape is on the shopping list! Here's what I did with the rocks...
A big Shout Out goes to Emmarts & Friendly Fairies for featuring my art in their wonderful Etsy Treasuries! To see their collections click here & here! Splashing! Thank you! Be sure to check out the goodies in their shops.
...I painted some new friends, my flower buds, my "Garden Buddies"! I had a lot of fun painting them! Each one is unique and I have to say look better in person. I made some for gifts and I also put a few in my Etsy Shop to share. They brighten up my patio & make it funky & fun!

These rocks are AWESOME! You are so creative.
That's very beautiful. You are very creative. Keep it up...It is really nice.
Oh how fun, fun, fun! The rocks look awesome. I have painted garden art as well. It is so much fun. I have a series called "Little Ladies of the Garden" and they are women who are just a little oversized with dresses on and working in the garden. I'll have to do a post on it again sometime. Great job and your bag does look very strong. Take care.
Hello sweets! How are you today?? And how was your week??? :)
What in the world is THAT thing??? That bag!!! LMAO!!!
Ahahahahhahahaha!
You paint your rocks and make friends with them....this reminds me of the time when I painted our big iron dumpster....hahahahaha! Well we had a big iron trash dump outside, and I decided I didn't want it to be ugly, even though it WAS a dumpster, so out came my paintbrushes and industry paint, and I painted flowers all over it!!!hahahahhahahaha!!! The neighborhood thought I'd gone mad (I'm sure) hahahahahahah!!!!
Your little rocks friends seem so friendly and lovely! Tell them I said "hi" :D :D
I love these little rock faces and flowers!

What a fun way to brighten up and personalize a garden space. Love your faces.
I just love your painted rocks! You've inspired me to paint some for my garden!
